You GO TO THE ZOO...

and you take one shot. Only one shot. Film is expensive, so what is your one shot?

I give you polar bears in Stockholm in 1959. I'm betting it's safe to say these bears have all passed on. They are bears no more. But when they were bears, they were gorgeous bears.

I'm guessing these bears were at the Skansen Museum zoo. Seriously, this is the ONLY shot taken at the zoo.

  1. Maybe he slipped up and didn't thread the roll of film with the other 36 exposures in the camera properly? My grandfather (and I) did that more than once!!

I "took" 36 shots of Tokyo and Mount Fuji, only to discover I had nothing since I hadn't loaded the film properly.

  2. That could be, but he did take a few other photos at the Skansen Museum. The Skansen Museum encompasses the zoo along with historical buildings, a little village of sorts. I will be posting those.
