I'm sure eventually some poor soul will find this post when searching "male pole sitter" and will be very disappointed. Keep moving. Nothing to see here.

DeleteHe is a goodlooking young man, and his coat and shoes make me think of the World War I-era or 1920s. He is perched on what appears to be a tall stump of what was a forked tree. I wonder for whom he was performing his antics, maybe a buddy or more likely a girlfriend. Back then a lot more girls than guys used cameras.
ReplyDeleteAh yes, performing feats of strength for those you want to impress. One can almost hear him saying over and over again, "Look I can do it. I can! Take my picture. Take my picture!"
