I'm so VERY CONFUSED!
If the photo is of Pa, Ma, and Clyde...which one is Pa or which one is Clyde? It's pretty safe to guess that one of them is Ma...but...but...
but...I'm so confused.
They are quite adamant about this what with the "." period after Pa and Clyde.

That would be Ma. and Clyde. I really don't think Pa is in this picture. Must have been pruned. Clyde? Ummmm. You pick - or prune.
ReplyDeletePa must had ticked them off that they removed his picture.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, another family story that gets told every time this photo is passed around
DeleteLooks like Pa might of been torn out ?
ReplyDeleteIf so, you got Ma and Clyde (left to right). :)
but...but...but...is Clyde a woman's name?
ReplyDeleteIs Stanley a woman's name? Barack Obama's grandfather so wanted a son that he named his only child, a daughter, after himself. Stanley Anne Dunham. Perhaps Pa really wanted a son, but made do.
ReplyDeleteIndeed you may be on to something. There's a story to be told about Clyde.
DeleteI think the photo is to Ma and Pa and Clyde..from Clyde's sisters maybe..just a thought:)
ReplyDeleteWell now that's a perspective I had not thought of. Definitely possible.
DeleteMy guess is that the photo is sent TO "Ma and Pa" from one of the girls in the photo. "Clyde" is probably ma and pa's dog / other pet.
