ALWAYS WEAR WHITE so the train can see you

Second piece of advice when posing on a train track, always make sure you do it on a turn so that the engineer has plenty of time to blow the whistle.

  1. Perhaps she's looking for that penny she put on the track before the train wheels ran over it.
I think umbrellas deserve a category. I've picked up a few studio photos where they are used as a prop. Not so many showing them used as a sunshade.

    1. Did you ever do that? Put pennies on the track. A friend and I used to do it, put several pennies on the track in hopes we'd be able to at least fined one of them in the gravel. The engineer used to wag his finger at us, we'd smile and wave back, then run up to search for them. I still have one, but haven't a clue where I put it.

    2. And yes, umbrellas/parasols are definitely a category.

  2. Standing on train tracks is a dumb thing to do. Around here, it is a "fad" to get your wedding photos taken on train tracks - I have no idea why...

    1. That is incredibly dumb. Boggles the mind.

  3. It is an interesting choice of locations. The outfit is good and the umbrella adds interest but a train in the picture would add excitement.

    1. If you type in "parasol" in the search box at the top left you'll find I've posted some in the past.
