Mount Jabal ad Dukhan, the MOUNTAIN OF SMOKE

This is the highest point in Bahrain, not including the high-rises. It's 440 ft./134 m above sea level.
The Mountain of Smoke is named as such because of the haze which often surrounds it on humid days. A number of caves of indeterminate type are in the vicinity of the mountain. (Source: Wikipedia)
So was the handsome driver driving down this road?

    1. Perhaps making a mountain out of a mole hill?

Just kidding. I'm guessing it's rather tough terrain for the average walker.

  2. I suppose for people of the desert, this would seem an impressive mountain range, but without Matthew standing in the road we can't really judge its height. I wonder if the ski resort is busy in the winter.

    1. It is all perspective, isn't it? I always laugh when I'm on the east coast and people refer to mountains and I think, "Whoa, that's not a mountain. That's a big hill. Now Mt. Whitney...that's a mountain!"
