This photo is a holiday tradition at this place. I repost it every year because gosh darn it just says so much about the holidays.
The one thing I have never posted is the name of the family. I felt I might be crossing the line, but now I'm stepping up and over and want you to know, and I'm not kidding, on the back it says "The Nutters." This is not a joke. That is their name. THE NUTTERS!
They're lucky they don't have thirteen kids to split the money with.
ReplyDeleteIt is an unusual photo but follows a theme from years ago. Money makes Christmas worth while.
ReplyDeleteIf it is any comfort, For the past twenty years, I have bought my automobiles from a Mr Nutter. I always got good service from him. One distant side of my family carries the surnam Belcher - excuse me!
ReplyDeleteA great photograph - but it is part of a fine tradition of great images (and words) you have kept up throughout the year. Happy Christmas.

Thank you all. And for the next 10 days dance and be merry!
ReplyDeleteStill funny, Nutters or not.
ReplyDeleteA fine old name (LOL)Subtract the S and add FIELD and you have our. Similar to Butterfield but with an N. Nobody's ever heard of it around here.
ReplyDeleteSo perhaps a family hanging on your family tree? Distant relatives? I think every family tree has some Nutters hanging on it.
