  1. They really can get fixated on a hopeful treat! I love this photo - so much in it - the 'broken/doggie?' door, the easel and round cut out (maybe he made a palette?) and more like the apple and knife.

    1. I was thrilled when I found it. It does have a lot of fun stuff going on. I'm wondering if there was drool too.

  2. Where did you get the photo of Edward Weston at his Carmel studio? Seriously, there's a great self portrait of Weston standing next to a view camera that looks a bit like this guy.

    1. You're right! He does resemble Weston. I hadn't noticed that. Wouldn't it be weird...found in an antique store.

  3. I noticed the camera tripod after the dog. I have a similar vintage one. If that's what it is then the cutout board would make a good sunshield for a photographer.

    2. I've just recognized that your new category - Begging fits my post this weekend perfectly. When I bought it awhile back, it was because it had those T&L qualities we all love.

    3. I haven't been able to get around to view everyone's posts yet, but now you've got me very curious about yours. Hopefully tomorrow will give me some downtime to just sit and peruse the joys of Sepia Saturday. T&L qualities. I like that.
