That is one odd, but charming picture. The first thing that popped into my head was "4-H".. or maybe younger American farmers (they have a club too, I don't know the official name).
ReplyDeleteI thought about the farmer link too, but thought it's possibly a May Day celebration. If this is indeed Ukiah the little boys were dressed to the nines. It was mostly a farming community. This would be during the Depression.
