The female GENERATIONS

I ask you, are these three women related genetically or are two of them related with a third a young daughter-in-law who still keeps her distance?

The WOMEN'S CIRCLE

It's rare you see a group of men with their chairs turned towards each other in a circle. Even when standing, a group of men tend to stand in lines, not really facing each other. I've watched this often when large groups of men and women get together and then split into groups. The men talk, but don't really look at each other. The women purposefully turn their chairs towards each other. One group slightly afraid of intimacy, the other quite comfortable with it.

And dogs? Well, they're just happy to be near their pack.

This is my contribution to this week's Sepia Saturday.

THE CAT THAT SAT with ma and pa

So, do you think this is a candid shot or staged? How many times did they have to chase Whiskers around the room before getting it to sit still with the ball of yarn?

Why is Ma smiling?

Why is Pa not smiling?

What is the cat thinking?

No information about these people, but I do wonder about the cryptic piece of paper under Pa's rocker. Is Pa about to go off his rocker?
