FEELING BLUE?

Gone but not forgotten.

  1. It always makes me sad to see photos with inked out or scratched out faces. I have two -- one in which my mother scratched out her family on a class photo, and one in which my sister scratched out her face on a family photo. In the case of your photo above, we're left to wonder who drew marks over the person on the right. Was it she or was it her friend beside her, "unfriending" her, so to speak? You probably don't have any history on this photo?

    1. They don't make me sad, I just find them interesting. I can remember tearing up some photos of a friend when I felt she'd betrayed me. I think "unfriending" has always been around one way or another. But I do wonder what the story is when I see shots like this.

  2. I think small children are the likely culprits for scribbles like this. Or putting a snap into a card before the ink has dried on the message.

And very nice to have you back. We've missed you.

    1. Thank you. Just needed a break. Think I can gradually get back on track now.
