The MASKED Boy


Does anyone have any idea what this kid is supposed to be? I've never seen a mask like this. I'm thinking it must have been hot as hell to wear.

    Whatever he was supposed to be, mom put a lot of effort into it.

      All I can think is RUBBER BOY! But I think there is some sort of image on the shirt, but can't figure out what it might be.

      That's what I was wondering. When did comic characters first appear in commercial costumes? I have no idea.

      The comics themselves go way back (1933). They were heavily read in the WWII years.
