Oh I am cringing. A long time ago I went to what was probably one of Kincaid's first galleries, back when they were still selling original paintings and not the prints with a few strokes of paint dabbed on. It was a very small room in Carmel, California. I walked in and looked at the first painting and thought, "Uh huh." Then I looked at the next and thought, "Ummmmmmm...." Then I looked at the next and said to the person I was with, "I have to get out of here. This stuff is freaking me out." It was so creepy.
Ohhh Thomas Kincaid had a camera?
