Looking back at this Kodachrome series, I think the characters have a depth that rival the best TV or film series. It's like looking at still shots of episodes of Mad Men or The Godfather. Good guys or bad guys? It's all left to our imagination. Someone had a good camera and fine eye.
After reading her obit, I don't think Betty shot many blanks. Fascinating to learn her background, and I bet she told some good stories. A pianist, a markswoman, and a Druid? Wow! Another couple of storylines.

ReplyDeleteI have been in her home and sorted through her belongings. It is sad, but I hope she would appreciate that someone is loving all of her photographs.
