Interesting. When would you date this photo? I see clouds in the sky. There must have come a time when the B & W film was able to capture clouds, but I don't know when that was. Do you?
I think this was probably late 1940s through '50s. It's possible the photographer used a polarizing filter which would help bring the clouds out. I don't know when they became readily available, but my father has a set he bought back in the early '50s with a camera he bought in Japan.
