Oh my, yes. Only - we had a ROLLER RINK just a block from our house, and when we weren't skating, we were playing sandlot baseball in the vacant lot next door to the rink. You bring it all back!
Yes, I remember roller skating on the sidewalk, with skates that needed a key. I learned to skate fast and straight but never to back up and barely to turn. Fun photo.
